Our Approach

The Experts, the Method, and the Tools to Return Patients to Productive Lives

Sibcy House at the Lindner Center of HOPE is equipped to return individuals to productive lives. Sibcy House is staffed by a team of dedicated professionals who have access to world-class clinical and research teams. Affiliated with the University of Cincinnati (UC) College of Medicine, these clinicians are some of the most notable in the nation in their fields.

Enhancing the expertise of Sibcy House staff is the method used to comprehensively evaluate every resident. Statistics show that getting the diagnosis right can dramatically improve outcomes. Clinicians at Sibcy House ensure an accurate diagnosis through the routine implementation of structured clinical diagnostic evaluations, psychological  and neuropsychological assessments,  family assessment, nutritional assessment, addictions assessment and specialty consultations as needed.

An onsite MRI (tentatively scheduled to be available in January of 2009) and research capabilities also enhance clinical expertise at Sibcy House. Brain imaging studies will be conducted off-site at the University of Cincinnati when clinicians recommend this procedure as a part of the comprehensive diagnostic work-up.  Additionally, clinical research studies will be conducted onsite and will be available as a part of the evidence-based treatment programs provided at The Sibcy House, allowing residents access to cutting edge treatments often years before they are widely available.
